Armando Reyes

Armando “Mando” Reyes, passed away June 10, 2024. Mando was born in El Paso, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Elena Reyes of 57 years; his daughter Elena, his loving granddaughters Luz Elena and Sara Arlina; his Son-In-Law Jose and brothers Julian, Ruben, Jorge and David.

Mando was preceded in death by his father Roberto Reyes, his mother Dolores Reyes; his brothers Bobby; Joey; Bernie and Roberto Perea.

Mando attended Thomas Jefferson High School where he was a member of the varsity football team. He graduated in 1965 and soon after was drafted into the United States Army where he served his country and was a proud Vietnam Veteran. Upon his return, Mando worked with various HVAC companies, and founded Kings Aire with his wife Elena on April 1st of 1980. Mando was a great storyteller, mentor, and friend to those who were fortunate to have met him or worked with him in the HVAC field.

Mando enjoyed the outdoors and loved going fishing and hunting with his brothers. He loved talking and being around people and had a magnetic personality. Barbecuing was another one of his passions where he always tried to master the art of smoking ribs. Mando loved his family and friends, and he will truly be missed.
